Last year you gave me my first opportunity to serve as an Alternate Delegate for the KAFP. What a learning experience! The action is fast paced as multiple reference committees are going on at the same time and resolutions are passionately debated on both sides of an issue. It is my intention to represent your collective Kansas voice as we discuss the issues facing Family Physicians. I will promise to always listen to all viewpoints, and my door is open to engage in discussion about any of the resolutions proposed this coming year. What I know more than anything is that Family Physicians care deeply about their patients and always approach resolutions from that standpoint. I look forward to continued service for an amazing group of physicians who continue to inspire me every time we gather around a table.
