Family physicians conduct approximately one in five office visits. Kansas was the 11<sup>th <\/sup>state to receive a charter from the AAFP (formerly the AAGP).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div><div id=\"el1775682330782-720fe1e0-2c3e\" class=\"pix-el-text   w-100  \" ><p class=\"\"><p>Kansas has had a strong presence within the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Board of Directors.
