KAFP is dedicated to increasing CME opportunities for our members and physicians
across Kansas.
Through this program, we hope to offer partnerships with other medical and CME provider organizations across the state. KAFP will submit the CME application to the American Academy of Family Physicians and help promote the event.

KAFP will provide the following:
Host organization will provide the following:

- Speaker and program developer disclosure forms. Due back to KAFP before the start of the program.
- Handouts. Due to KAFP prior to the start of the program.
- AAFP accreditation statements/seal as listed on the program website (screenshot).
- Activity planning documentation, including how the following were identified/defined: Professional practice gaps, needs assessments, core competencies, learning objectives, and learner engagement.
- Learner Evaluations. Scanned and sent to KAFP two weeks post event.
- Description of the faculty selection process.
- Completed Conflict of Interest forms. Scanned and sent to KAFP.
- Evidence of mitigation and resolution of any identified COI(s).
- Disclosure of COI to learners before the beginning of the activity.
If your activity includes commercial support (www.accme.org) also include the following:
- Disclosure of commercial support to learner.
- Letter(s) of agreement with all commercial supporter(s) of this CME activity.
- Policy and procedures governing honoraria and reimbursement of out-of-pocket expenses for content controllers.
- Receipt and expenditure of commercial support.
- If a social event was held in conjunction with this CME activity, please provide a copy of the description/invitation or other method used to notify learners of the event.
