Kansas CARE (Child Abuse Review and Evaluation)
Are you interested in becoming a CARE provider? A CARE provider is a medical provider who has participated in the training provided by KAAP on child maltreatment, including recognition of abusive injuries and the medical evaluation for children when abuse is suspected. CARE exams require additional time and expertise, therefore CARE Providers in the network will be compensated through KDHE $750 for each exam.
