Primary Care Health Summit and Free Workshop

KAFP will host a one-day Primary Care Health Summit in mid-October or early November 2024 in the Kansas City area. This event will focus on pediatric and primary care topics, potentially covering sports injuries and referrals, teen portal access, asthma, obesity, eczema, plagiocephaly, and gastrointestinal issues.

Following the KAFP conference, a partnered free workshop will be hosted by KSKidsMAP and the Kansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (KAAP). This free workshop will center on transitioning to adult care for children and adolescents with autism, neurodevelopmental disorders, and intellectual disabilities. Presentations will be delivered by experts including child and adolescent psychiatrists and psychologists.
