Kansas Academy of Family Physicians shines a spotlight on the outstanding work of members through these awards for practicing family physicians:

Kansas Family Physician of the Year

This is the highest recognition KAFP awards annually.  Through it, KAFP recognizes involvement in community affairs and activities that enhance the quality of life of the community.

Kansas Exemplary Teaching Awards

Through these annual awards KAFP recognizes members with exemplary teaching skills, who have implemented educational programs and/or developed innovative teaching models.

Kansas Humanitarian Award

This award recognizes extraordinary and enduring humanitarian efforts.

Nominate a Family Physician

Nominations for 2020 awards closed December 31, 2019.  To nominate a family physician for any of the above awards, please click on the name of the award and it will direct you to its award page with instructions. Award winners will be announced in the spring 2020.
