The news has been inundated with information about the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).  While the state of Kansas as of today does not have any reported cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV), the Kansas Department of Health and Environment wants to provide information and facts regarding this new virus. “The risk to the general public is low,” Dr. Lee Norman, KDHE Secretary, said. “This new strain of coronavirus was first identified in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China.
