I gained a tremendous amount of experience as the Cloud County Health Officer during the COVID-19 pandemic, with all of the public meetings and education this entailed. I’ve been practicing in rural Kansas for over 10 years and can help bring perspective of the everyday challenges in medicine for rural Kansas patients and physicians.
