I am applying for the Wichita/Salina Campus Faculty Director position for the KAFP. Raised in Colorado, I attended medical school and residency in Philadelphia, and then practiced in full spectrum family medicine in Minnesota for three years. I moved to Kansas three years ago and am currently faculty at Wesley Family Medicine and have the great honor of teaching our residents full spectrum family medicine. I have been a member of KAFP since my move to Kansas and am hoping to become a more active advocate for family medicine in our community.

Having seen family medicine practiced in multiple states, I appreciate the scope and capabilities that family physicians have in Kansas, and wish to support and advocate for patient centered, full spectrum care. I have seen the effects of expanded Medicaid in Minnesota, and would support the expansion of Medicaid here in Kansas, to improve access and care to the people of Kansas.
