Resident Presentations

Resident presentations provide an opportunity for Kansas family medicine residents to gain speaking experience and participate in scholarly activity.  The goals of the resident presentations are:

  • To provide residents the opportunity to give a presentation that will help fulfill their scholarly activity requirements;
  • To provide interesting CME for FMF learners;
  • To build residents’ awareness of and interest in KAFP and it’s CME opportunities.

KAFP has dedicated a total of 14, 15-minute presentation time slots for residents to present during Fam Med Forward.  Ten slots will be presented live, in-person in Kansas City; while the remaining four will be pre-recorded via Zoom and broadcast to virtual learners during the conference. Although the virtual presentations will be recorded, speakers must attend the virtual session to answer Q&A as well as to qualify the session for CME credit.
