Have you confirmed your MIPS eligibility?

TMF Health Quality Institute

The 2017 reporting deadline for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS), part of the Quality Payment Program (QPP), is March 31, 2018. If you’re a physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist or certified registered nurse anesthetist and you haven’t yet reported, double-check your eligibility at https://qpp.cms.gov/participation-lookup.

If you are eligible and haven’t reported, it’s not too late. Contact TMF Health Quality Institute today for free help at QPP-SURS@tmf.org or https://tmf.org/qpp. A TMF consultant will walk you through the steps to access the QPP Portal and help you identify data you already have so that you can successfully report and avoid a negative payment adjustment.

2018 County Health Rankings: County Profiles

Kansas Health Institute

Johnson County ranks healthiest in Kansas and Republic County is the least healthy county in the state, according to the ninth annual County Health Rankings, released March 14, 2018, by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute (UWPHI). Kansas Health Institute has developed individualized data sheets for each Kansas county available here. Registration is open for the webinar and workshop from the National Quality Forum (NQF) on strategies for opioid stewardship. The webinar will highlight the National Quality Partners’ (NQP) Playbook™: Opioid Stewardship, developed in partnership with AHRQ.  The Playbook encourages healthcare organizations to develop realistic measurement strategies to assess key areas such as clinician prescribing patterns, adherence to best practices, and the use of non-pharmacologic pain management.
