The American Academy of Family Physicians has reviewed the ALSO Provider Course and deemed it acceptable for up to 8.00 Live AAFP Prescribed credits. The term of Approval is from Sept. 30, 2023 to Sept. 30, 2023. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The AAFP is approved as a Provider of continuing nursing education by the Kansas State Board of Nursing. This course offering is approved for 9.60 contact hours applicable for APRN, RN, or LPN re-licensure. Kansas State Board of Nursing Provider Number: LT0278-0312. This is an advanced level course and may not be suitable for all general continuing nursing education.

The AAFP has reviewed ALSO Online Provider Course – 9th Edition and deemed it acceptable for up to 8.00 Enduring Materials, Self-Study AAFP Prescribed credit. Term of Approval is from Nov. 18, 2020 to Nov. 18, 2023. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to to AMA PRA Category 1 credit(s)™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed, not as Category 1. CME activities approved for AAFP credit are recognized by the AOA as equivalent to AOA Category 2 credit.
