The Kansas Academy of Family Physicians is seeking emerging leaders to serve as delegates to the American Academy of Family Physicians National Conference of Constituency Leaders (NCCL) – April 23-25, 2020 in Kansas City, Mo. If you are interested in serving as an NCCL delegate, please email a short statement of interest to Tarah Remington Brown at tremingtonbrown@kafponline.org expressing your interest by Jan. 31, 2020.
KAFP is looking for physician members to represent five special constituencies:
- Women
- Minorities
- New physicians (in the first seven years of practice following residency)
- International medical graduates (IMG), from schools outside the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico
- Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) physicians or physician allies
KAFP delegates to NCCL are reimbursed for eligible expenses, in accordance with the KAFP reimbursement policy.
