Family Medicine Week is June 10-16, 2018…How Do you Care for Kansans?

FAMILY MEDICINE WEEK in Kansas is here –  June 10-16, 2018. We hope that you are able to attend the 2018 Annual Meeting “70 Years Caring for Kansans,” June 14-16 and we can celebrate FAMILY MEDICINE WEEK together! During the Annual Meeting, attendees can complete a fill-in-the-blank sign, “I care for Kansans by ____________.”  Then hold their sign in front of the KAFP banner for a photo and share on social media.  If you are unable attend the meeting, please participate in this fun photo opportunity this week!

  • Download and print sign
  • Fill in the blank on how you care for Kansans.
  • Take a photo of yourself holding the sign or have someone take your photo.
  • Share on social media using #KAFP70Years and #KAFPAM with your post.

KAFP Annual Meeting Celebration Begins this Week

The KAFP Annual Meeting countdown is here! Wednesday, June 13 is the pre-conference KSA Group Learning Session. And on Thursday, June 14, we will officially kick off the 2018 Annual Meeting, 70 Years Caring for Kansans!  All registrants should have already received a “Know Before You Go” e-mail with details about the conference.  You will want to bookmark or save this website page: kafponline.org/ForAttendees And if you haven’t already registered, we will accept on-site registration starting Thursday morning at the Overland Park Marriott Hotel in Overland Park (1010800 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, KS 66210).

Appointed committee members help form policy and make recommendations to keep the organization at the forefront of the specialty on a variety of topics affecting the specialty.
