Three new resolutions were submitted for action this year. The Board of Directors will take action on them and resolutions from five years ago to decide whether to retain, rewrite or sunset each of them.  Members may view all the resolutions online: 2018 Resolutions.

The KAFP Reference Committee will meet Thursday, May 31 at 12:15 by video conference to discuss the resolutions.  Committee recommendations will be available at the Member Meeting during the Annual Meeting at lunch on Friday, June 15.  The board will discuss and take action at its meeting on Saturday, June 16. We are pleased to offer a Pre-Conference Knowledge Self Assessment (KSA) on Health Behavior – Wednesday, June 13 from 1:30 – 5:00 p.m.  (8 CME credits.) You can meet the American Board of Family Medicine’s certification requirement for self-assessment activities by attending this group learning session.

You may register with your Annual Meeting registration or separately at KSA Health Behavior.

About the KSA:

  • Review 60 core competency questions with experienced family physician faculty, and de­cide the best answers with your colleagues.
  • The KAFP reports your answers directly to ABFM on your behalf.
  • Earn 8 live credits of CME immediately.
  • Following your completion of the Clinical Self-Assessment, receive an additional 4 credits.
